Yes. We repair rotomold plastic, carbonlite, airalite & composites; both fiberglass & Kevlar™. BHP has the ability to reseal bulkheads.
Does BHP install & repair rudders?
Yes. We install manufacturer rudder kits and can custom build to your kayak specifications.
Can BHP convert my kayak or canoe to an angler version?
Yes. We can custom outfit your kayak or canoe with the following suggestions; rod holders, cleats, anchor trolleys, depth/fish finders & motor mounts.
Can BHP assist me in outfitting my whitewater kayak and/or my touring kayak?
Yes. BHP can assist with a personal fit and adjustment to your hip pads & back bands.
What other outfitting options does BHP have available?
Some examples are; Cleats, eyelets, cup holders, deck rigging, hatches, paddle holders, anchors, back bands, thigh pads, hip pads & foot braces.
Can BHP assist me with options to transport my kayak or canoe?
Yes. We carry a full line of Yakima Rack Systems, Riverside Cartop Carriers, Extend-A-Truck in addition to Rack & Roll and Magneta Trailers.
Can I carry more than just one kayak on top of my vehicle?
Yes. Yakima Rack Systems provide several options to transport multiple kayaks as well as bicycles & skis.
. Is there an inexpensive but efficient way to transport my kayak or canoe without a factory rack?
Yes. Riverside Cartop Carriers have foam block kits & packs, replacement blocks & straps as an economical option.
Do I have alternatives to a roof rack system that would eliminate me having to load a boat on top of my car?
Yes. Extend-A-Truck, aluminum Rack & Roll Trailers or Magneta Trailers are options.
Does BHP take kayak or canoe trade-in’s?
Yes. BHP can take a trade-in and/or put you in contact with a potential buyer. BHP also offers our Facebook page as a networking tool.
Can BHP sell my boat for me on consignment?
Yes. BHP can take the hassle out of selling your boat for a nominal fee.
What are the qualifications of BHP’s staff?
BHP has experienced and certified outfitters on-site. Factory trained & Certified Water Dawg & Certified Rack Dawg along with over 30 years of hands on experience.
Is an appointment needed for either outfitting my boat or installation of a rack system on my vehicle?
An appointment is not necessary but highly recommended.
Is an appointment needed for either a Trade-Ins or Consignment transaction?
BHP recommends that you call ahead so a qualified manager is available to determine the value and your best options. However, once again not necessary because you may leave the boat on our premises and a BHP representative will contact you.
